ANNOUNCEMENTS:
- Ministry Leaders, your Goals Sheets & PowerPoint, from the Leadership Meeting, have been emailed to you. If you would like a paper copy let the office know. The Goals are due in by November 30th.
- Advisory Board Meetings – Wednesdays, November 19th & December 10th. Church Meeting – Saturday, December 13th at 10am.
- From Now - November 23rd, the Events Ministry will be accepting hygiene items for the Sojourner Peace Center. They are in urgent need of items such as shampoo/conditioner, products for textured hair, lotions, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, deodorant, hand sanitizer and clothes for women, children & men. Items can be brought to the church Monday - Friday during normal business hours as well as on Sunday mornings. If you have any questions, please see any member of the Events Ministry.
- The Youth Department will have a meeting on November 22nd at 12pm to share and gather ideas for future programs. There will be light refreshments during the meeting. Following the meeting, parents’ volunteers and youth are invited to Sky Zone. Please sign up at the entrances and pick up your engagement letter, or call the youth department director, Sam Alexander 515-554-2416. Sign up ends on November 18th so tickets can be purchased. If you have any questions or need transportation to the meeting or outing, please let the director know.
- Children’s Church will begin on December 14th. The children 12 and under will go to the Church School lower level for their own Worship Service experience. More information will follow.

- FOOD RESOURCES: Many people will need food during this season. We have gathered some resources for you to share. Copies of Food Pantry locations are available on our website and on the tables at each entrance. There are places where people can receive help with Thanksgiving, Gee’s Clipper, 2200 N. Dr. Martin Luther King Drive on Saturday, November 22 @1:30pm, City of Lights, 6725 W. Burleigh, November 22 from 9am-11am and HeartLove Place, 2207 North 2nd Street, November 20th @11am (this is a drive thru event).
- Help is still available For flood victims: First and foremost, it is very important for a resident to report damage to their home. Please have the caller fill out the 2-1-1 Wisconsin Damage Report at https://211wisconsin.communityos.org/damage-report.
