JESUS IS STILL WORKING MIRACLES

JESUS IS STILL WORKING MIRACLES
I previously shared that for this season of Lent I am expecting miracles to occur in the lives of our church family. Over the past couple of weeks, there are many of you in our church family who have experienced miracles as you have seen God’s hand at work in your life. Very clearly, as we expect God to move on our behalf in miraculous ways, God will move on our behalf in miraculous ways.
My prayer for miracles during this season of Lent is not just God performing miracles for the sake of doing miracles. Rather, my prayer is in line with John’s purpose for recording Jesus’ miracles (as he calls signs) in the Gospel of John Chapter 20, Verses 30, 31, “And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name. My prayer is that we have an unwavering belief that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. Additionally, I pray that as we personally experience God’s miracles in our lives, our belief/faith in Jesus will increase and our intimacy with Him will deepen.
While we are expecting miracles for the season of Lent, remember our goal is to extend our expectations for Lent, beyond Lent to the remainder of our lives. Therefore, my prayer is that we live the rest of our lives in the expectation of God’s miracles occurring in our lives, in the lives of those whom we love and in the lives of everyone who comes into our lives – both long-term and for brief moments.
For this week, I ask that you join me in prayer as we expect miracles regarding:

The sale of the Church Building on Sherman Boulevard

The acquisition of the Frederick Douglass School Building

Let us pray with expectation that God will move in miraculous ways and give us all testimonies that will speak to His presence, participation and power that is at work in all of our lives.
