ATTENTION!!! Ministries it’s time for you to begin working on your Goals and Budgets for 2019. They are due Sunday, October 7th. Leaders please check your email for those papers. If you don’t have a computer, please see Sister Griffin.
Friday, October 5, 2108 – Youth Lock-In (10 & Older)from 6pm Friday to 5:30am Saturday. All youth who attend the Lock-In must attend the American Baptist Annual Gathering. More information to follow this week. If you have questions contact Dea. LaGrant.
Voter Registration Deadlines are fast approaching. Please check! Early voting has already begun at: Zeidler Municipal Building, 841 N. Broadway, Midtown Center, 5700 W. Capitol Dr. and Mitchell Street Library, 906 W Historic Mitchell Street. Pick up a flyer in the foyer with all the times and more details.
The Church School Children & Youth Department will sponsor a Food Drive for the Rescue Mission, beginning October 7 thru November 11. We need the following items: boxed stuffing, canned vegetables, cranberry sauce, gravy, mac & cheese, canned fruits, peanut butter and jelly. All items should be brought in bags and the entire bag placed in the barrel that we will provided in the foyer.

Please join us as we support Sister Marilyn Kern and her daughter Michelle in distribution of purses to homeless women. You can begin to bring your donations of small sized items, such as: lotion, soap, and deodorant, tooth paste, socks, combs & brushes and place them in the container in the foyer. Thank you!
