Praise on the Block, Sunday August 26, 2018. Please invite your family and friends to join us as we hold our service outside the church on 38th Street. On that day we will also be doing a clothing give-a-way. So if you have clothing to bring you can do so beginning on tomorrow, August 20th. Remember all clothing must be clean, folded & sorted by sizes or on hangers. We will not accept clothing stuffed in a bag.
* Back to School Giveaway – It’s that time again. You may begin bring school supplies and book bags.
* MEEP (Milwaukee Exposer & Explorer Project) 9th Annual Luncheon to be held at Four Points Sheraton in Brown Deer on September 9, 2018.
* Walk to End Alzheimer, Sunday, September 16, 2018. Registration is at 8am and the walk begins at 10am. All participants should register with Sue Dlouhy @414-479-8800 or @sdlouhy@alz.org. T-shirts are only given to monetary donors. The location is Henry Maier Park 200 North Harbor Dr. Information about Alzheimer is in the foyer.
* Pilgrim Rest will be hosting the 14th Annual African-American Prostate Cancer Summit September 29th from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. Men and women invited. Breakfast included. Knowledge is the best defense against prostate cancer.
