ANNOUNCEMENTS:
- Attention all men. Men will lead church service on November 16th. Please join us on Thursday, November 13th for choir rehearsal at 6:15 pm. Please enter the school from 38th street.
- From Now - November 23rd, the Events Ministry will be accepting hygiene items for the Sojourner Peace Center. They are in urgent need of items such as shampoo/conditioner, products for textured hair, lotions, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, deodorant, hand sanitizer and clothes for women, children & men. Items can be brought to the church Monday - Friday during normal business hours as well as on Sunday mornings. If you have any questions, please see any member of the Events Ministry.
- There will be a Leadership Meeting on Saturday, November 8th. Please join us at 10am in the Fellowship Hall as Pastor D will share our plans for 2026 and start our budget process. This meeting is mandatory for all Advisory Board and Ministry Leaders and we also welcome any members of the congregation that are interested in ministry leadership.
- The Youth Department will have a meeting on November 22nd at 12pm for parents, youth, volunteers and those interested in working with youth to share ideas and discuss future programs. Following the meeting, the Youth Department will sponsor an outing. If you need transportation to the meeting and outing please let Sister Samanatha Alexander know so arrangements can be made.

Federal Government Shutdown Delays Foodshare Benefits
Because of the federal government shutdown, November benefits for current FoodShare members will be delayed. The shutdown must end before members can begin getting benefits again. FoodShare benefits are 100 percent funded by the federal government. Benefits may not be available in November. This may include any funds remaining on your card at the end of October. You may want to use your benefits to stock up on food before the end of October. Call 211 to find out about other sources of food assistance in your area. You may also call the church office to get a list sent out to you via email. There will also be a few copies on the tables for you to share with others.
