ANNOUNCEMENTS:
• From October 1 - November 23rd, the Events Ministry will be accepting hygiene items for the Sojourner Peace Center. They are in urgent need of items such as shampoo/conditioner, products for textured hair, lotions, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, deodorant, hand sanitizer and clothes for women, children & men. Items can be brought to the church Monday - Friday during normal business hours as well as on Sunday mornings. If you have any questions, please see any member of the Events Ministry.
• Family Day is soon approaching! This year, the Events Ministry will be hosting our Annual Chili & Desert Bake Off on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 1:00 -4:00PM. We would like everyone to attend, fellowship, laugh and most importantly, try the different chilis and deserts! Sign-up sheets are at both entrances of the church. Please note: there is a sign-up sheet for attendees (pink highlight) and one to enter the competition (green highlight). If you are entering into the competition, please have your item to the church by 12:45PM in a crockpot/warmer. Each entry will need to have a list of ingredients to accompany each item.
• On Sunday, October 19, 2025, Pilgrim Rest Goes PINK for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We ask that everyone wear pink (all shades are welcome).
• October 25-26 Pastor D’s Installation Service Weekend Saturday, October 25 – 6:00 pm Official Service Installation Sunday, October 26 -9:15 am -Installation Sunday.
