• MEEP (Milwaukee Exposure Explorer Project) will sponsor a Summer Tutoring Program. The session will begin on Tuesday, July 8th thru Thursday, August 7th, 2025, at 3434 North 38th Street. If you have children that can use this help please contact Sister Lillie Simmons, 414-943-1938 to register.
• SCHOOL SUPPLIES DRIVE! Summer is a short season and It’s time for us to begin gathering supplies for our children. You can help by bringing in pencils, pens, crayons, markers, folders, loose leaf paper, erasers, spiral notebooks, pencil cases, pencil cases, book bags, etc. There will be a container at each entrance beginning Sunday, July 27th.
• SOFTBALL SEASON. Practice will be on Sundays, @3 pm At Madison Park, 9800 West Glendale Ave. Next game July 28th @6:30, Wick Field, 4929 W. Vliet St.
• THE YOUTH DEPARTMENT will host its annual Summer Reunion on Friday, August 1st. We are looking to see all our young adults age 18 and over in the Youth Fellowship Wing at 6pm for a time of fellowship and reconnection. Please see Deacon Robert or Sister Lynne LaGrant with any questions.
• A NIGHT TO REMEMBER. A Celebration of Style. Pilgrim Rest will be hosting another Evening of Elegance on Friday, August 22, 2025, at the Wisconsin Country Club. Registration and silent auction will begin at 5:30PM. For members, the ticket cost is $60 ($62 if paid online), non-members are $75 ($78 if paid online), and tables are $700 ($721) if paid online). The attire for this event is formal. We can't wait to fellowship with you all over dinner and good music! Please complete the signup sheet and place in the offering basket until Thursday, July 31, 2025. • On August 30, 2025, Pilgrim Rest will host an appreciation celebration for Pastor & Sis. Thresessa Childs at the Masonic Northwest Center. The address is 4315 N. 92nd Street. This event will start at 5:00PM. The sign-up sheets are at both entrances of the church. There is limited space so please sign up as soon as possible. Non-members are $10.
• General Baptist State Convention of WI, Inc. MIDWEST REGIONAL CONFERENCE August 14-16, 2025. We will be preparing to welcome our guests on August 2 @ 2pm at Way of the Cross, 1401 West Hadley. If you are interested in being a part of the welcome committee join us. For more information call the church office.
• WGBSC 101st Annual Session – August 4-7, 2025 at Tabernacle
• TARGETED INVESTMENT NEIGHBORHOOD 2025 Program Launch –August 7 from 6-8pm. in the Pilgrim Rest Fellowship Hall. Refreshments will be served.
