TEXT: ROMANS 4:13-22

TITLE:  GOD CALLED THOSE THINGS TO BE 

INTRODUCTION

1. Only God can call the inexistent to exist
2. Humans will never be able to “call into being things that were not”
3. We may ask God for anything in his name (John 14:14)
4. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Phil 4:13)

THE PROMISE

1. All of God’s promises spoken over your life will come to pass
2. God gives life to the dead
3. My hope is based on God’s spoken promise

THE FAITH

1. Do not be weak in the faith….vs 19
2. Do not waiver at the promises of God….vs 20
3. Be fully convince what God promise He will perform….vs 21

JESUS IS READY TO CALL FORTH HIS PROMISES

1. Your promise is not dead
2. “I am the resurrection and the life..though he may die he shall live” (John 11:25)
3. Jesus cried out with a loud voice “Lazarus…come forth” (John 11:43)
4. “Loose him, and let him go” (John 11:44)

CHALLENGE FOR THE WEEK:  THAT I MAY BELIEVE GOD’S PROMISES
