TITLE: JESUS POST RESURRECTION: SEEING IS BELIEVING
INTRODUCTION
A. If Christ is raised from the dead how can some say there is no resurrection of the dead?
B. If Christ has not been raised from the dead our faith is worthless
C. If Christ had not risen from the dead we would still be sinners
D. To deny the resurrection is to claim every witness is a lair who claimed to
know Christ
WHY IS THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS IMPORTANT
A. The Resurrection witnesses to the immense power of God Himself
B. “I am the Resurrection and the Life” (John 11:25)
C. “Christ is risen from the dead and has become the first fruits of those fallen
asleep” (1Cor.15:20)
EVIDENCE OF THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST FROM THE DEAD
A. “JESUS appeared to them over a period over 40 days” (Acts 1:3)
B. Christ appeared to the women
C. Christ appeared to His disciples
D. Christ appeared to the Apostle Paul
“BLESSED ARE THOSE THAT HAVE NOT SEEN AND YET HAVE BELIEVED” (John 20:29)
A. “Do not be unbelieving, but believing” (John 20:29)
B. “My Lord and my God” (John 20:28)
C. “He did many other signs that you may believe He is the Christ, the Son of God” (John 20:30)
D. “And that believing you may have life in his name” (John 20:30)
