 - What is a Servant?
 - Servant = diakonos = servant, minister, waiter
 - Servant = doulos = slave
 - We know that we should serve. However, how do we serve?
 - Serving others as Selfishness
 - Serving others as Satisfaction
 - Serving others as Sacrifice
 
DO I KNOW THE LORD?
- Hophni and Phinehas did not know the LORD 
- How could they grow up in the temple and not know the LORD?
 - How could they serve in the temple and not know the LORD?
 
 - Do I know the LORD? 
- What am I doing? (Matthew 7:21-23)
 - What am I desiring (Philippians 3:10)
 
 
DO I HONOR THOSE WHOM I AM SERVING?
- Hophni and Phinehas did not honor the people 
- They stole from the ones they were supposed to be serving
 - It was all about them
 
 - Do I honor those whom I am serving? 
- “In order to lift someone you must love them, and they must know that you love them.” Martin Luther King, Jr.
 - If I do not honor you, it will be difficult to serve you
 
 
DO I HONOR THE LORD?
- Hophni and Phinehas did not honor the LORD 
- They stole from God
 - It was all about them
 - If they would not honor God, they could not honor the people
 
 - Do I honor the LORD? 
- What is my relationship with God really like?
 - Do I really honor God?
 - If I will not honor God, I cannot honor the people
