TEXT: EZEKIEL 37:1-14

TITLE: WHEN THE HAND OF GOD IS ON ME

GOD TAKES CONTROL

1. The hand of God was on Ezekiel
2. God carried Ezekiel away, by the Spirit
3. God set Ezekiel down in a valley filled with dry bones.
4. God led Ezekiel all around among the bones that covered the valley [God

wanted Ezekiel to See What He Saw] 

1. When the hand of God is on me, God takes control…
   1. God will take me to where He wants me to go…
   2. God will show me what He wants me to see…

GOD REVEALS HIMSELF

1. First, the revelation was Visible
2. Second, the revelation is Verbal
3. Today, the revelation is Venerable (revered, honored, worship)
   1. God asked Ezekiel a question that only God could answer, “Can these bones live again?”
   2. Ezekiel was forced to venerate (reverence, honor) God
4. God will reveal Himself to us by causing us to venerate (reverence, honor and worship) Him for who He is

GOD DESIRES THAT I JOIN HIM

1. First, God desired that Ezekiel see what He saw…
2. Second, God desired that Ezekiel says what He says…
3. Today, God desired that Ezekiel did what He wanted done…
   1. Prophesy to the bones, “God told me to tell you…” [God wanted Ezekiel to Say What He Said”
   2. “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!’”
   3. “God told me to tell you, ‘Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. I will put sinews on you and bring flesh on you, cover you with skin, put breath in you; and you shall live’”
   4. Goal: “Then you shall know that I am the Lord”
4. God desires that we do what He wants done
   1. First, God desires that I see what He sees…
   2. Second, God desires that I say what He says…
   3. Then, God desires that I do what He wants done…
   4. Understand, God’s plans generally do not make sense to us
   5. Why? Because they are God-sized plans
   6. Goal: “Then you shall know that I am the Lord”

CHALLENGE FOR THE WEEK: THAT I WILL DESIRE GOD’S HAND ON ME
