TITLE: When the Storm Doesn’t Match the Promise

Introduction:

a. How can Jesus sleep in 2026?

In the year of our Lord 2026, we get on the boat with Jesus—called church, called Sunday morning, called worship—and while the wind and waves of life are whooping our tails, we find ourselves asking the same question as the disciples: ‘Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?’”
