INTRODUCTION

1. Can God use you even though you have a past?
2. God expects us to use wisdom in our ministry

WHO IS RAHAB?

1. Cursed  (Canaanite – Descendent of Ham)
2. Traitor (Conspired with the enemy)
3. Prostitute  (Rahab the Harlot)
4. Liar  (Lied to the king’s men)

WHAT DID RAHAB DO?

1. She hid the spies
2. She lied to the king’s men
3. She deceived the king’s men searching for the spies

WHAT CONCLUSIONS COULD WE DRAW?  

WHO AM I? / WHAT HAVE I DONE?  

WHAT CONCLUSIONS COULD BE DRAWN?    

WHY DID SHE DO IT?

1. “I know the lord has given you the land”
2. “We have heard how the LORD dried up the Red Sea”
3. “We have heard what you did to the two kings whom you destroyed?
4. “For the LORD your God, He is God… ”

WHAT WAS THE OUTCOME?

1. She saved the spies
2. She saved her family
3. She saved the world

WHAT IS MY POSSIBLE OUTCOME?

CHALLENGE FOR THE WEEK:  THAT I WILL NOT ALLOW MY PAST TO PREVENT ME FROM FULFILLING MY FUTURE
