TITLE: God, We Need Your Wisdom
Introduction:
“The man that knows something, knows that he knows nothing at all – ” Erykah Badu's lyrics beautifully parallels James 1:5, which speaks about seeking wisdom from God. Both Badu's lyrics and James 1:5 suggest that true wisdom begins with recognizing the limits of our own understanding. This humility opens us to divine wisdom and insight.
- And if any of you lacks wisdom, let them ask of God(Verse 5a)
- Anytime we need to make a decision, anytime we are in trouble, anytime we don’t know what to do, if our backs are against the wall, if we need guidance and wisdom for anything, we should ask God.

- God gives Wisdom abundantly:
- Large quantities, a generous, overflowing, beyond ordinary measure.
- God gives Wisdom without reproach:
- Without finding fault
- Without disappointment
- God gives Wisdom abundantly, generously, graciously, so we can operate and represent God’s holiness and righteousness.
- Thank God, our human limits do not stop us from receiving wisdom, Our limits do not stop God from pouring out God’s limitless wisdom –
