INTRODUCTION
A. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if things remained the same forever? ​
B. Protectors promote the preservation of ‘what was’ ​​​
C. Reflect on your childhood in church ​​​​
1. Based on the century’s old view that children had less value
2. “Children should be seen and not heard”
CHILDREN ARE BROUGHT TO JESUS
A. To bless them (Lay hands on them) ​​​​
B. To pray for them ​​​​​​
C. What’s the problem? ​​​​​​
D. Today, youth are brought to Jesus. What’s the problem? ​​
THE DISCIPLES’ PROBLEM
A. They were Protectors. Promoting the preservation of ‘what was’ ​
1. Children were insignificant
2. “Children should be seen and not heard”
B. Protect the Children – “We know what is best for them” ​​
C. Protect Jesus – “We know what Jesus wants” ​​​
D. Protecting themselves – “We do what is best for us” ​​​
JESUS’ LESSON
A. Permit the children to come to me ​​​​​
B. Do not hinder them ​​​​​​
C. For such is the Kingdom of Heaven ​​​​
D. Therefore, He laid hand on them ​​​​​
E. Imagine how it looked: Jesus blessing and praying for children… ​
F. Imagine how it will look: Pilgrim Rest blessing and praying for children… ​​​​​​​

CHALLENGE FOR THE WEEK: THAT I WILL ASSIST SOMEONE IN HAVING GREATER ACCESS TO JESUS
