INTRODUCTION

A.  Jesus initiates the invitation and found Philip

B.  Jesus ministered to Philip, and he found Nathanael

C.  Nathanael questions; Philip responds, “Come and see…”

1. People question
2. How should we respond?
3. “Come and see…”

D.  Nathanael came and saw…

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I COME AND SEE?

A.  Many of us have never meditated on what happened after we came and saw

B.  Jesus will tell me something about me that I did not know about me

1. Jesus knew what was in Nathanael’s heart
2. Jesus knew Nathanael
3. Jesus knows what is in my heart
4. Jesus knows me

C.  Jesus will expect something from me that I did not know was within me

1. Nathanael got excited about what Jesus did (past)
2. Jesus wanted Nathanael excited about what He would do (future)
3. Is my faith only in what Jesus did?  (past)
4. Do I have faith in what Jesus is going to do?  (future)
5. There is something within me that I will never know is within me if I never step out in faith for the future…

CHALLENGE FOR THE WEEK: THAT I WILL MEDITATE ON WHAT HAPPENED AFTER I “CAME AND SAW”, THEN INVITE ONE PERSON TO “COME AND SEE” JESUS
