The Pilgrim Rest Family would like to wish each one of you a very Happy Birthday and God’s blessings. If you have not received a birthday wish and or card from your Deacon, Deacon Griffin, then we don’t have your birthday in our records. Please call the church office to update that information.
- The Health Ministry will be doing complimentary Blood Pressure Checks every 1st Sunday, beginning today. The blood pressure checks will be done in the adjacent choir room location. Let us help you keep tabs on your blood pressure.
- Pilgrim Rest will partner with Walgreens to provide 4 immunizations on Sunday, August 2, 2026, immediately after service. They will have available: RSV, Pneumonia, Shingles and Hepatitis B. Please sign up at either entrance, bring your insurance card. Flyers are available with more information.
- We are looking to restart our Transportation Ministry. If you have a love for people and willing to drive, we need your help. Please submit your active Driver’s License to the Church Office to be added as a registered driver of the church. Our insurance provider requires all drivers (new and old) to be added to our new policy. Please see Deacon Robert LaGrant or Sister Bianca Reid with any questions.
- Children's church is every 3rd Sunday of the month, August 16th Children 12 and under can go to the fellowship hall basement after Sunday School for children's church at 9:15am. Children will return before service is completed. If you have questions, please contact Youth Department Director Sam Alexander (515-554-2416).
- On Sunday, August 2nd, we are planning a dedicated time for the entire congregation to learn about our church's practices. Please join us for our General Assembly during the Church School hour at 8am where we will discuss the structure of the church and how we operate for the building of God’s Kingdom!
- We will resume our Tuesday and Thursday Bible Studies during the week of August 10th. Please read Chapter 5 in the book as we continue to walk through ways to become a more welcoming church for all people that God may send our way!
- The Wisconsin General Baptist State Convention Inc. will hold its Annual Joint Session on Monday, August 3rd-Thursday August 6th. The host church will be Greater Mt. Eagle Baptist Church in Racine and you can register for classes at www.wgbsc.org if you are interested in attending.
- Attention All Advisory Board Members. We will have a mandatory Advisory Board Meeting on Wednesday, August 5th at 6pm. Please reach out to your respective Chairperson if you cannot be in attendance.
- We will have our Quarterly Leadership And Church Meetings on Saturday August 8th. The Leadership Meeting is mandatory for all Church Leaders and will start at 1030am. We invite all members of the congregation to join at 12pm to hear about the forward movement of the church and have your voices heard.
- If you have previously expressed interest in joining the subcommittee for the 75th Anniversary Celebration, the Events Ministry invites you to join our meeting on Monday, August 3, 2026 at 5:45pm in the School.
