- Join Our New Church Walking Group! We’re excited to launch a church walking group—a great way to enjoy God’s creation, get some fresh air, and connect with one another in fellowship while enjoying different parks across Milwaukee County. We will meet for a warmup at 7:30am and will begin walking at 8:00am. Whether you’re looking for gentle exercise, meaningful conversation, or simply time outdoors, we’d love you to join us. Feel free to invite friends and family! Please wear any PRMBC shirt, comfortable walking shoes and bring water. We hope to see you there as we take steps together in faith and community! - 06/13/26: Hart Park in Wauwatosa
- 06/20/26: Shorewood Nature Park in Shorewood
- 06/27/26: Estabrook Park in Shorewood
- The Health Ministry will be doing complimentary Blood Pressure Checks every 1st Sunday, beginning today. The blood pressure checks will be done in the adjacent choir room location. Let us help you keep tabs on your blood pressure.
- VBS - Please fill out the registration form that will be at each entrance. Please place forms in offering basket. If anyone would like to teach or volunteer at Vacation Bible School, please see Connie Dallas, Samantha Alexander, or Mary Euell.
- Children's church is every 3rd Sunday of the month. Children 12 and under can go to the fellowship hall basement after Sunday School for children's church at 9:15am. Children will return before service is completed.
- The Youth Department will have a family bowling outing on June 20th at 12pm. Please sign up through the Church School. More information to come! If you have questions, please contact Youth Department Director Sam Alexander (515-554-2416).
- SAVE THE DATE: The Pilgrim Rest Leadership Institute will be held on Saturday, July 11th. The Institute will run from 1030am-230pm. All members are invited to attend, and the institute is mandatory for all church leaders.
- Saturday, July 18th Pilgrim Rest Praise in the Park! Sherman Park, 3000 W. Sherman Blvd., Area #2. Enter on Sherman Blvd or Chambers Street side.
- Save The Date: Our next Quarterly Leadership and Church Meetings will be held on Saturday, August 8th instead of August 1st. We will share more as we get close to that date.
- On August 23rd, we will have our annual Praise on the Block Church Service and Back to School give away. Please come out and bring your friends and family! If you would like to donate school supplies, please bring them to the church during business hours or before church on Sundays.
- Attention Church: The 121st National Baptist Congress of Christian Education will be held from June 22nd-June 26th. The classes will run from 6pm-830pm nightly, and the church will cover the fee for all delegates who complete their class. Please see Sister Rubye Jones, Chair of the Ministry of Christian Education, as soon as possible if you would like to attend. Pilgrim Rest will serve as a virtual host for the convention and offer the following classes:

- Summertime in Milwaukee is here. The church is looking to proactively help our most vulnerable populations with air conditioning support this summer. Please see a Deacon if you or anyone you know is in need of assistance.
